Great start to Summer Socal Independent lacrosse league!

The Summer Southern California Independent YouthLacrosse League is off to a fantastic start!  This league was created by Silverfin Lacrosse and Leverage Lacrosse last year. The idea was to provide an affordable yet competitive summer lacrosse rec league for the many emerging lacrosse clubs in Southern California. This enables the clubs to spend their money where it counts, on good coaches and practice space. Unlike other summer leagues, the games are 17 minute running quarters with timeouts and a halftime. This longer formate provides for plenty of playing time as well as gives the coaches a chance to actually in game coach and teach their players.  The atmosphere is the stands is laid back and very family friendly.  We have U9 to U15 teams and the clubs participating this summer are from Orange County, Palos Verdes, the South Bay of Los Angeles, Culver City, West Los Angeles, Valley locations and Pasadena. The first two weeks were played at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach. We will finish up season with games at Newbury Park High School and Pasadena.  Many thanks to all the great clubs involved and to Silverfin & Leverage Lacrosse for providing this wonderful opportunity for the boys playing lacrosse in Southern California!
